Small Socketed Copper Alloy Axe head

Description

Shaft tunnel with rim lip in upper part of axe head. Triangular, full bodied cross section of the blade. Slightly drooping, barbed blade shape with rounded corners. The blade, initially narrow at the shaft, extends outwards and broadens into a curved cutting edge. Very sturdy, heavy build.
